Subic Bay was a popular dive site among the Spaniards in the 1900s, the Japanese during World War II, and the Americans during their stay until 1992. To date, 19 wrecks have been located and identified, most of which are located in very still waters no more than 30 minutes by boat from the Waterfront area. These wrecks are now being utilized for expeditions of underwater war museums and marine life enthusiasts. |
